Representing the Annapolis area in the Maryland General Assembly, we are happy to report that Delegate Ron George will be joining us on January 8th at the Maryland CAN conference. He had one heck of a reelection battle this year when Far Left activists from around the country and Washington insiders poured money into his opponents campaign, see just one story here at Red Maryland. His opponent, Judd Legum, was a former research director at John Podesta’s Center for American Progress which tells us all we need to know about the powerful forces arrayed against George. Democrat Speaker of the House, Mike Busch, also serves Mr. George’s district, which is heavily Democratic with three representatives. Delegate George finished first, ahead of the incumbent Speaker by a wide margin. Delegate George prevailed in his race and goes back to the General Assembly in January.
