I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Broadus on several occasions lately (the first time was here at The Thursday Meeting), and we are happy that he agreed to share with us on January 8th his Congressional campaign experiences and his suggestions for what we all need to be doing better in advance of the 2012 election cycle.
Robert Broadus works as a Computer Programmer in the DC-Metropolitan area. He is a 1994 graduate of the US Naval Accademy (bachelors degree in Political Science) and a 5-year Navy Veteran. Robert was a candidate for Congress from Maryland’s 4th Congressional District in 2008 and 2010.
Robert has also attended several Healthcare Town Halls, Tea Parties, and political activist meetings including Americans For Prosperity and Young Republicans meetings. He has stood firmly against the controversial healthcare law (Obamacare) which violates the 13th, 10th, 8th, and 5th Amendments as well as other provisions of the Constitution.
He is a member of “Protect Marriage Maryland,” a group that is focused on preserving the current Maryland law which defines marriage as between a man and a woman. He brings an emphasis on Conservative Values, Capitalism, Civil Rights, and the Constitution.
